This apple cinnamon oatmeal hits the spot on a cold morning. Easy to make with just a few ingredients. Simply pour all ingredients in the Instant Pot, set the timer, and by the time you finish with your morning shower you will have a warm, nutritious breakfast waiting for you. This apple cinnamon oatmeal can easily be made sweeter with a little date syrup, agave or honey.
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (in InstantPot)
- Pressure Cooker
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup steel-cut oats
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 tsp cinnamon)
- 2 Tbsp almonds
- Mix all ingredients in InstantPot
- Put lid on, seal vent, select Manual/Pressure Cook for 3 minutes
- Allow pressure to release naturally (should take about 10 minutes)
